My future postgrads studies

Hello everybody , in this blog section I will talk about what i would like to study after graduating. if i don´t get into the clinical area i would like to continue my studies starting with an master in chemistry and after that i will continue studying until I reach the doctor´s grade. in that I thought I will be complete academically speaking. this academic grades allows me to do investigation , classes and a lot of usefull things related to the profession. It´s a hard path to get there and a lot of money but it worth the effort. Often the people tells that the it´s unnecessary doing this studies but they don´t know the value of this. In any case nowadays it´s almost a requirement to have some specialization in an specific area when your're looking for employment. And if i get into the clinic area as i wish, i will continue with an master and doctor on pharmacology. I do prefer that area but is very sacrificed. you have to work in an hospital with a team of health professionals or doing academic job too. anyway my intention it´s to do the superior studies in the future with no excuses. the big problem it´s the money like always. you have to apply for a scholarship and that´s the complicated part.

My Future Job

Hello everybody, the blog section of today it´s about the job that i want to do in the future. Well I get into this career whit the objective of become part of the health public system, but its not enough with studiyng chemistry and Pharmaceutics, because thye only way to get into the clinical and hospital area you have to do an specialization lasting 2 years in the final years of the career (9th semester) so its a hard path to get my achieve but it worth all the effort to make my dream come truth. It may sound crazy but the clinical area specialization is the worst paid of the career , but i don´t care about money. the job consist basically in been part of a medical team of diagnostic and treatment, and the role of the pharmaceutic it´s to administrate the best treatment with medications to the pacient, correct the doctors when they are prescribing a treatment that can potentially harm the patient or in the worst situation kill him. So it´s crucial the presence of the pharmaceutical in the team to any situation. The exciting part of the job it´s kind obvious, save or try to save a life and help a person who need it, it´s the best situation that you can feel when you are a proffesional in my opinion. so even it´s a hard path I will not stop untill i can help the people who can pay for a expensive medical tratment and medicine. Best concert ever

In the blog section of today I will talk about the best concert I attended. It was August 15th of 2013. I was 15 years old, and it was amazing. The concert was called "Los Jaivas celebran 50 años".He had a lot of success because it was free and the Jaivas wasn´t the only artist, another´s artists joined in the as Banda @Alpargato, Pancho  Miranda, banda Sexual Democracia, Sol y Medianoche, Tumulto, Joe Vasconcellos, Juana Fe, Colombina Parra, Flor Motuda, Denise Malebrán, SAIKO, Sergio Lagos and Nicole, Los Tres, Chancho en Piedra, Congreso, Inti Illimani Histórico, Los Jaivas, well in a few words the concert lasted about six hours of chilean classic rock and over 60 thousand people went to see them. definitely the best concert I´ve ever been no fights, only people laughing and singing, having a good time relaxing, etc. The concert was In Museo de bellas artes in the midtown of Santiago in the end of the forestal park. If this concert is repeated i will not hesitate to go again, but that´s just dreaming because not met twice fifty years right. Well this was the blog section of today I hope you´ve enjoyed.

A Country I would like to visit

Hello everybody in this blog section I will talk about a country I would like to visit in the future. Well this country it´s Spain, because my elders came from there and also it´s the mother of our culture here in Chile and in whole Hispanoamerica. Spain have beautifull landscapes, mountains, rivers, desert, beaches, pieces of architecture, and my favourite a lot of world history, enough it travel to Granada and seen the influence of arabic culture, or travel to Madrid and seen the rodeo, Santiago Bernabeu stadium and visit the museum of history, who tells the story of the Franco dictatorship victims. For the religious people Spain also have large churches and amazing castles of the middle Ages.

Another curious althoug im a scientist i do like history and language, and in Spain was made the best novels at all times El quijote de la Mancha, El mio Cid campeador, etc. and that´s not all you can also go out and enjoy the nigfhtlife offered by the large cities. Okey, This was the blog section of this week goodbye everybody.

Evaluation of your Blogging Experience

Well in the blog section of today I will talk about my personal experience making blogs along the semester.
writing a blog is something like puting a piece of what you're thinking or feeling in the moment about the topic, In my personal opinion it helps me a lot with my english because you have to read , create an idea and put into the web , where anyone can see what you´ve written. It mixes a lot of skills we learned along the semester, also it´s an instance to share with your partners and to relax or comment the problems in the other courses. I would like to include more activities like this blog section or make more opportunities to share and to get a better quality of language, this activity in particular forces you to to enrich your vocabulary and grammar and helps you to learn fast in a short time. 

In general it was hard for me to be constant in this activity because i have a lot of courses this day and in general test or stuff like that, but the effort worth a lot, I think i have reach a higher level of english in respect of which I had before this semester. if i pass this courses jajaja i would like to have an activity like this in the next semester to keep getting better use of english. greetings , good bye. 

My favourite subject this semester

Hello everybody, this semester my favourite subject was calculus. In fact since I can remember I hate the mathemathics I always have bad grades In my middle education, but in this ocasion was different, nowadays I enjoy studying calculus on the weekends, and the classes are so fun , my math proffesor is so funny and good to make jokes, so he keep us entertain and at the same time that we learn a lot.

That it's a fact because our section have the better grades in the subject and nobody claims about the proffesor. He isn't like another proffesor who gets anger when we get late to class and he knows the names of the whole class.

Hello everyone in this blog section I will talk about a webpage that brings me help in many oportunities when im studying math in the faculty or in my home. This page it´s www.wolframalpha.com. Well this site, in a few words wolfram alpha it´s a Math bot who gives you the solution of any excercise of math, translate words, interpret languages and that isn´t all, also wolframalpha can give  you help in chemistry area by means of show you the right form of atoms and molecules, the Atomic weight, the molar mass ,and even the lewis structure. Do you think that is awesome?, well isn´t the all functions yet, WA have information about almost every single thing that you can imagine, people, history, animals, stadistics, art, places, geography, health, and even physiscs jajaja.

In the website you can reach almost the whole functions but to have the full perfomance you can buy the aplication in the store of your smartphone. Well that´s enough information to keep learning about this miracle of science, download the aplication guys, I recommend it.

My Favourite Anime is...

Hello everybody in this blog section I will spoke about my favourite anime Naruto.

·         Naruto it´s an anime directed by Hayato Date and written by Masashi Kishimoto, wich tells the history of an teenager ninja called Naruto Uzumaki who has a dream , became in Lord Hokage the most important person of his village , to get this achievement this boy must face many challenges who gave a turn to his whole life but nonetheless he don´t give up, he keep going to meet it´s goal no matter what may happen, next to his friends Sakura and Sasuke that in every minute support him, also it´s supported by his professors and beloved persons. I´ve choose this anime because the main character seems a lot to me, because I also have a dream in life, which is to become a pharmaceutical chemist. For this like Naruto must go through many hardships during the race, either penalties, joys and anger, which eventually forge me as a person to achieve my goal.

Hello guys , well this it´s my favourite picture, in my opinion this photo have an important content of history of chile and the world itself, this photo was taken in La Moneda in Santiago of Chile in November 10th 1971. I don´t really know who took this picture, but surely was a photographer or journalist jajaja, I like this photo because this are two mens that I admire for they brave and courage

The history of this photo it´s in the context of the visit of Fidel Castro to Salvador Allende during his goberment, in the period of his visit he gifted an AK-47 Kalashnikov rifle to Salvador Allende, the same that he used to defend himself of the military coup in 1973.

Lets talk about music

Hello everyone, let´s begin with the blog section of this week, in this oportunity the topic will be about music in general, and in particular about my opinión of it and what kinds of music do I like.


Let´s begin with my favourite styles beginning with the most refined to the most dirty.I will take this order because music preferences variates according to the moment, to be more specific, I will not listen classic music in a party, and I will not listen hip-hop for studing. Okey, keeping with the orientation of this topic, in order my favourite styles are: Hard Rock, Progressive Rock, Metal ,Classic music,  Hip-Hop, Reggae, and Reggaeton. All of this are for different occasions and each of it brings me different feelings. I use Classic Music to focus, Reggaeton and Hip-Hop for party and to get some joy, and the rest of it to get inspiration and energy in the day. I do prefer listen music, I do sing sometimes but it´s not my first option. Comparing styles , between coordination and emotions, Pink Floyd are the greatest band ever, with David Gilmour in the front. Albums like The División Bell gives me beautiful moments in life.
Music are a important piece of my life I listen to music every day and i will keep doing it till i get tired of it.

My favourite piece of technology

Hello partners, I´ll say that i´m a big fan of technology since I was a child.But this blog is focused on my favourite device, the Computer. I guess we all are from the generation who grew up with this advanced technology systems, but i think that computer is the best. Since i can remember , I always use a computer almost every day of my life.

Well I´ll explain why i have this opinion, first the computer it´s the main machine of who are made the rest of the new existing devices, the processor heart of this machine is used in many machine , calculators , cellphones , smat TV´s , etc. second the computer it´s always faster tan any other devices and make the all functions that other devices do, calculate , you can watch TV with internet , you can play and also communicate with another people by means of him.

I think that my life without computer would be more boring, slow and hard, because this device makes our live´s easier and faster.

Why did i chose this career

Well, let´s beggin with my childhood, when i was a child my first dream was to one day become a lawyer or doctor (classic), but i never thought studying Chemistry and pharmaceutics, because in that moment i didn´t know that the career even exist.

When i get to the PSU my objective was clear i wanted to became a Chemistry, of course there was another ways (medical technology or Chemistry) in case of failure but i didn´t take them seriously.

In the end the decisión was clear for me before i took the decision, so it was easy for me because since high school chemistry became an important part of my life.

My experience in university untill now it´s better than i ever imagine, i made a lot of friends , i love the ambience of the faculty, it´s charming and at the same time it´s stressing but i chose the pretty side of the theme.

When i finish the career id like to work in the clinic area because one of my motivations to studying this was the fact of that we are a professionals who help people like any other, so in the clinic area we can help people directly working with a team of doctors like Dr.House:).

Emilio´s Story

Emilio Rodrigo Jiménez Duboy, born in December 31th 1997 in the city of Santiago in Barros Luco hospital , Chile, first and unique son of Erika and Rodrigo , he studied the primary and the middle education on Colegio Santa Isabel de Hungría in La Cisterna, after that Emilio chosen the career of Chemistry and Pharmacy at the University of Chile where he started his superior studies.


At 2011 at the same time that he was doing the secondary education Emilio became participant of the team of swimmers in the recrear club in la cisterna where he do many contest, he won some also he lose some but definitively he enjoy the experience. After that Emilio decides to became an expert in table tenis so he started to trainwith the dream of became the best but, he never complete that dream because he start his studies for the PSU.


Nowadays Emilio lives in La cisterna, took a long travel to get the university and he enjoys the universitary life , studying 24/7 of course and sometimes taking some times to party and leave all the stress, but he always keeps the rhythm so he can pass all the courses.
